The DVD was an idea of the Market Town Initiative 'Hayling's Best'.The DVD was produced by Robin Walton who has also has also made two other popular DVDs about Hayling Island

Hayling - Secret Island of the Holy Grail examines Hayling's ancient past and the legacy of the Roman and Norman invaders. There is significant evidence connecting Hayling Island to John of Gisors, a major figure in the Grail Mystery. The Priory Church of St Mary's has a wealth of significant sacred imagery which is unique in English church carving and underlines the theory that major Grail artefacts may still be hidden somewhere on Hayling Island.

Aspects of Hayling 2 was filmed over a couple of seasons , and aims to capture some of the flavour and attractions of Hayling as a holiday place. It features two blue flag beaches, flora and wildlife, historic Hayling, the Paris to Hayling charity Bike Ride, Hayling's ancient churches, WW2, the watermen of Chichester Harbour and much more.
